I'll be that guy: we don't need the TBS title. There isn't enough spotlight on the women for it to make sense. I guess we can add a spotlight, but where we are now: this title is extraneous.

The in ring action was fantastic as usual, but (with the exceptions of Kingston winning the Classic and Julia Hart retaining) pretty much every major booking decision left a really bad taste in my mouth. The TNT title finish just seemed to invalidate the entire match, and making Cole the Devil was both the most predictable result and the one I least wanted to see. Not to mention, MJF losing the title clean as a sheet before it all went down just really, really sucked.

EDIT: Apparently MJF is going to take time off to heal up and play up the bidding war story, so I guess him losing the title makes sense. Still, if they were going to pay off the Devil storyline, they probably should have had the Devil crew involved in the finish.

Garcia getting the pin on Lethal was nice, covers alot of bases. Lethal keeps losing. Garcia gets some more momentum and steals another one. Danielson and Claudio have to respect that he got them the win

Kingston gets his moment and beats Mox. The BCC may also have to put some respect on his name as well. Also Danielson/Mox cheering for each other BCC members on commentary is kind of cute considering how violent they are to everyone else

MJF finally loses and it was him wanting to cheat and trusting Adam that led to it. Cole also redid the Wardlow spot where he forgot which pocket the ring was in. It makes sense. Cole talked him into that match with Samoa Joe. MJF went from barely wrestling to pulling double duty some nights with the ROH Tag Titles. Wardlow hates his guts and of course Roddy would go along with his best friends Adam's plan. Cole also won the Owen by beating Joe so he's the perfect guy to make a deal with

MJF is taking time off but his world really ended tonight. No fiance, no ROH Tag Titles, no AEW title, no best friend and he doesn't even have the Acclaimed either

It's rare that AEW makes a booking decision I detest as much as how that TNT title match ended.

Looking forward to this one. Always love to see Julia do her thing, and same for Abadon. The battle of the spooky chicks will be one for the ages.
