Sony aims to move mini LED past OLED with new backlight control technology

Interested to see this in person. Last model year, Sony shifted the focus to Mini LED but I couldn’t understand why (nothing in their main stream lineup looks better than the A95L).

Cool and all..but can they start making actual tvs again and not network connected trash with terrible UIs that are slow and buggy as all hell?

The googleTV interface is pretty decent compared to the other options. I have an LG OLED that I use an AppleTV on, but of all the built in UIs, I think GoogleTV is one of the better ones.
