lmao, pure projection on Putin's part. Why would we meddle in Russian elections? Putin already 'wins' regions by over 100% of the vote.

That's where the GOP learned it.

Mr_Fish@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Because russian elections are completely free from meddling

BobVersionFour@kbin.social · 5 pts · 2y

Well yeah since Russia have election in name only you can't meddle in something that not real

The projection is coming from inside the house

notannpc@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 2y

Well now we know the excuse Putin is going to use to justify arresting and/or killing his next political opponent.

But he was always going to do that anyway.

If the US meddled to install Trump as Russian President, everybody will be happy. Even Trump, even Russians.

Jajcus@kbin.social · 3 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Would you trust Trump more than Putin with Russian nuclear weapons?

bedrooms@kbin.social · 3 pts · 2y

Ooof!

Well, we don't really trust Putin with nukes too much, but, yes, Trump is on a categorically different level.

Ah, I see it’s projection season.

captainlezbian@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Why wouldn’t we?

PugJesus@kbin.social · 11 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Waste of time and resources, one supposes. Elections in Russia mean nothing.

Counterpoint: we get revenge for their meddling in multiple countries, get Zelensky elected.
