Yiffit has been upgraded to Lemmy v.0.18.1-rc9. Please report any bugs that you might experience.

Hello everyone, I generally try to avoid upgrading to release candidates and this time I had to do it twice! But basically these RCs seem to fix many of the bugs / issues that people were experiencing.

In the previous version there was a bug that wouldn't allow users to send private messages.

I already attempted to do this upgrade yesterday but the site had stopped working and I had to roll back. Apparently this was due to the object storage provider and not due to the upgrade, but I still rolled back and unfortunately we are now missing data for approximately 1 hour.

Once things are mostly bug free I plan to keep upgrades to a minimum and only upgrade to stable versions. I will also monitor the performance of the current object storage provider and finally find a way to decouple the database so that we can rollback without losing any data.
