The residential tower blocks of 16, 21 and 21 storeys are planned for the site of the White Spot restaurant and Capital City Centre Hotel in the 1900-block of Douglas Street, bordered by Caledonia Avenue and ­Discovery Street.

I live nearby, and I'm really excited for the development. We need more housing downtown!

That's great! I hope we can have more and more higher-density housing so the town can become more walkable in the future. A step in the right direction.
