I want to see some episode of trek where a temporal agent takes a few attempts to get the timing right for a bad joke, and in a way the doesn't effect the actualy very serious story of the episode

Some kind of Groundhog Day, but for a petty joke? I love it! So long as we see a few scenarios where his foibles result in disaster.
