There are 3 actually! Homeworld, cataclysm (emergence now because somehow blizzard trademarked the word cataclysm or something), and deserts of Kharak which is a prequel. Highly reccomend emergence.

There's a remaster of 1 & 2 from a few years ago too. It doesn't include cataclysm/emergence, though, as they lost the source code

Ah, so the "move units through tunnels" thingy is really just movement on rails?

I read that more as easy-to-select targets for movement, rather than having to select, move, and adjust z-axis
