Modular desktop mini golf

It was too cold to go outside over the weekend, so I designed and printed this modular mini golf game.

This is the first project I’ve published online, so I’m super excited to share it!

This is so cool!! I could see this becoming a whole little system of micro mini golf

I doubt that there would be enough contributors for it to ever catch on. But I did design this with expandability in mind (it’s basically a miniaturized Gridfinity knock-off). Maybe I will publish the specs and/or a tile template…

This is exactly what I want the future to look like.

Scientists are saying the future is going to be far more futuristic than they originally predicted.

Super cool! If I had a printer I’d love to have little tchotchke all over my desk and house like this!

Also amogus.

Looks cool but trying to putt on tile? No bueno

NardoPolo@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

The tiles do affect the ball movement slightly but the tolerances are small enough to be acceptable for what this is - a desktop toy. I’ve been playing with this at work all week and the real fun is in building. It has definitely been a huge hit at my office!
