His point here was that the humans were moving too fast, it wasn't a compliment. They consistently insisted the humans weren't ready for space travel.

But us Earthers knew better. FUCK THEM! EARTH #1!!! WE'LL SHOW EVERYONE HOW IT'S DONE!
