Quite right. They should play by the rules and inherit their seats from their fathers or by bribery. Tradition is everything in the Lords.

Now then I read a guardian piece by Sandy Totsvig attacking this very thing the other day. The Church is against Gay Marriage was the thrust of her arguement.

I'm anti theist so I fully support taking the Church out of any and all Governments decision making. I think it's disgusting in this day and age that a single Religion has a say in my life against my will.

Get imaginary friends out of politics.

The whole lords thing is shambolic. Starmer has promised reform. I for one look forward to it. But I have to say that this group has had some of the most scathing criticism of the legislation these scumbags are pushing through.
