Were they doing market research, going: "you know, we could make a civ game, call it something else, and take their market"? And everyone said "yeah, that's a good idea"?
So weird. This is not Paradox's forte, but maybe the game is awesome so...
Yeah, I've liked other paradox games because they aren't civ. I put a lot of hours into civ but I'm kinda over the whole turn-based hex grid epic strategy genre.
I was disappointed to install humankind and start it up only to discover it was a civ clone.
This feels kinda like they are taking a step backwards from where they were with CK, Europa, and HoI.

I mean, they only publish it, didnt devop it.
But yeah I cant take any convincing major point from this video to buy this game over all the other CIV clones..
