This may be a dumb way to do it but I print to PDF. It doesn't require any new software and works just fine for documents

i used OpenScan recently, another FOSS app - worked ok. Sources: Izzy's repo or Google Play

You & SnokenKeekaGuard responded quickly So I did exactly what you said and wrote "foss pdf converter" into goofle play store then easily made a PDF and was able to submit an official time-sensitive document and THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY DAY.

i know this is the wrong thread to ask but do you by chance know of any good jpeg to pdf scanners that are ios compatible?

There should be an option to print it to pdf on your phone.

ah yes, now that you mention it, I recall last time I asked this question people suggested "print to PDF" and I did that and it worked.
now the next thing I'll work on is remembering things so I don't have to keep asking you guys the same things I've already asked before.
