They pestered me to let them outside only to do this

They know how to live. They need fresh air and a bit of sun.

Currently my dog as well. She loves the heat!

One of my dogs who does this finds the sunniest spots in the dirt, flops over, and I swear she just turns off.

She's a small bulldog mix, so I am duper careful with her in the heat, but also can't deny her a little sun nap.

Sometimes I just want to go out and take a sunny dirt nap with her 😅

I think they want to be outside with you.
