Ngl, this owl looks fairly raptor-y and less owl-y.
Which gave me the idea if content would ever slow down: raptorday! Take Saturdays to post pictures of superb raptors that aren't (necessarily) owls.

I do try to sneak some in from time to time, and I've even posted a bobcat and some other non-birds I think when I can find a way to tie them in somehow.
My story about the owl-locating dog got pulled when I put that out and I had to argue my case to get that put back up, so I dunno if they'd go for that.
There are 2 decent sized birding groups on here, where they would probably fit in great. I think it's Birding @ .World and I wanna say @Lem.ee.
Once you see beneath the feathers, they start to get prehistoric looking pretty quickly!
