I am trying to buy but being quite unsuccessful as I attempted to use simple swap and apparently their wallet is down. Maybe they were using Binance as their liquidity provider or something.

Unfortunately, I can't do that because simple swap already has My USDC and According to their support they have already swapped it for monero. I just haven't got it yet. Though if I don't get it I'm going to be filing a dispute because it has been over four hours already. Glad i used trocador
