I find "scientific" articles that use Fahrenheit to be quite bizarre.

If you click through to it, the actual study uses Celsius. The Fahrenheit is just the journalist converting.

When you're talking about relative change, one degree F is 5/9 of a degree c, so if London cools by 18F that would be 10c.
