Why would these random posts from 2 years ago show on my timeline ?

I don't know the specifics, but I've seen quite a few people around Lemmy saying that the hot algorithm is pretty broken so I'm gonna hazard a guess and say that it's just a weird anomaly from less-than-perfect coding.
