QUADRUPLE-A GAME!

Typically, I'd be extremely excited to buy this at $10.

But remembering it's Ubisoft, who will absolutely find a way to fuck things up, like adding weird ass drm, gimp the steam release, kill servers, or find some other new bullshit (like have their games mine crypto), I'd rather just not.

For that range you could just get black flag

I’ve bought the game and it sucks ass. It’s hard to understand what the missions are anbout and how it all really works. It’s all a bit messy and it’s all happening at the same time. 3/10 because the graphics are cool.

Played the open beta and it was meh. Felt like an assassins creed game with the fun stuff cut away. Basically drive ships and walk on islands, watch many cut scenes and go questing.

All I want is a decent Sid Meier's Pirates!-like.

Or the vibe from AC: Black Flag

Multiplayer, coop and vs with sea of theives style procedurally spawned enemies, crew stats and upgrades with recruitment / permadeath mechanics of black flag, fencing / shooting combat, and learnable sea shanties that provide different buffs.

Definitely a good to pirate game.
