Can anyone help me with switching wallet software for my hardware wallet?

I'm currently using Exodus wallet with my Trezor model T and have been having a rough time with it. If I download another wallet software and plug my trezor model T in will the same wallets come up if the wallet passwords are the same or is that not how that works?
