So now I have to pay to see ads for Intel?

Seriously though, I think this is great. With it being one of the top results when searching for benchmarks, and how biased it's become, it would be great if better sites can overtake it

Doesn't visiting a site then quickly hitting the back button derank that site for search results? I'd love to see this site fall to the second page as a result.

  1. Make a website that simply displays the text "Intel is faster than AMD" and nothing else.
  2. Put it behind a $5/mo subscription
  3. Profit

It was kinda useful to find out if one part was underperforming compared to other users that have the same config. Completely useless to compare between different setups tho.

Thank god less people will use it.

Too bad, I had a lot of fun reading about Advanced Marketing Devices, Neanderthal social media accounts, canned game reviews and insults to user's critical thinking skills. It was one of those "so bad that it's actually good" kind of things, once you realized what was going on.

But this suicide move is probably for the best overall.

Intel thinks people will pay to see its advertisements?

Good. That site scared people from buying AMD cpus. Bon débarras

I always use this:

https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_value_available.html#xy_scatter_graph

The XY scatter graph on cpubenchmark.net helps me choose along that bottom line of processors - so I'm getting the most computational value for my money.

Good, hopefully people will stop using that shitshow
