Higher tier pals yield more points when condensed

That's actually pretty big, and honestly pretty awesome. Now you can just condense a bunch of pals into just a few, and use fewer, higher-tier pals to make more 4-stars. Badass.

Also, there are more building pieces added already?! I saw something about triangular roofs.

I think they mean triangular walls. they were INCREDIBLY finicky. They were meant to fit under stairs but they HAD to be placed first.

What does the star rating change btw? I've only ever noticed the pal's ability level go up, and I'm not even sure what that changes either.

It increases their max stats, levels up their partner skill, as well as leveling up their work skills when you get them to 4 stars.

For instance, a 1 star Chikipi will only give you one egg each time it spawns one, but a 4 star Chikipi will give you four eggs each time. I have a ranch with 4 star Beegarde, Mozzarina, Chikipi, and Vixy.

You can now adjust the in-game brightness in the settings

Finally! On a not-so-bright TV screen nights were just unplayable, though i discovered that in HDR you could see at least something.

I knew that riding on a wilderness area didn't cause "unlawful activity" was too good to be true. I'm glad I got all my "unlawful" activity out of the way before the update (more guards appear too).
