I've just upgraded to Plasma 6 on EndeavourOS and X11 works, but booting on Wayland via SDDM gives me a blank screen. The display enters power saving mode and switching to a TTY doesn't wake it up.
Anyone else having this problem, or with a workaround suggestion?
NVIDIA Driver 550.54.14-4
Operating System: EndeavourOS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2
Kernel Version: 6.7.8-arch1-1 (64-bit)

Try installing
plasma-meta? I wasn't quite having this issue, but my login glitches were fixed with it.eager_eagle@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 2y
thanks - I just tried it with a full reboot, but same thing

the failed login
journalctl -b -1 | grep --line-buffered kdetbh plasma outputs so many warnings under normal operation that I have no idea how to parse what's relevant or not

I just tried updating to Plasma 6 today with my Nvidia card and exact same issue, Nothing but my cursor rendered, I could still launch programs like the terminal through hotkeys but they weren't scaled correctly. Even when I tried Plasma 6 through X11 I got a lot more visual bugs than 5.
I was kinda hyped hoping KDE 6 would finally let me use Wayland...

I had to deinstall the Nvidia driver and are using nouveau instead. Everything is working fine now.
