Just figured out I can send Mastodon posts over to Discord!
You'll need the bot: https://monitorss.xyz/ to handle #rss feeds
And your #mastodon account rss feed url: https://mastodon.social/users/imperor.rss (replace "imperor.rss" with "your_handle.rss")
Add it to the bot and connect the bot to a #discord channel.
You might have to tinker with it a bit, because Mastodon posts don't have titles, what the system tries to pull by default. Just use
{{rss:description__#}} instead

So you essentially write a post here, and the bot will push it to one or multiple pre-specified discord channels?

Yeah, the rss link for you should be https://mstdn.games/users/civfanatics.rss
You'll put that link into the management of the bot console. The bot can push up to 50 messages per day per feed to any specified server, channel or even thread in 10 minute intervals, etc.
It's really quite handy!

Agreed, I'm also using it to pull some gaming related news from some sites now, etc. Just have a few more value channels going.
But since a lot of people are not on Mastodon, sadly, this can be a good way to get them involved and aware still.

(not sure if that is again relevant for you)
