See, I was thinking the other way around. I was thinking the prevalence of keyboards largely contributed to the decline in penmanship, rather than providing a way to skirt it.
My middle-school-aged son's handwriting is hilariously atrocious. Kid is a straight-A student but writes about as well as my daughter, and she's 8. Every time he has to write something we get a good laugh out of it. Same with other kids his age. His yearbook looks like it was signed by a class of kindergarteners. I figure it's just because they simply don't write--ever. Everything they do is on a laptop.
Will be interesting to see how much worse handwriting can get before we just say "fuck it". Lol
Oh man,, I dunno if I can remember , I use a lot of Noodler's waterproof / partially waterproof inks , top looks like golden brown and bottom looks like 41 brown , but it may also be me trying to mix up my own version of golden brown (41 chocolate brown with some non waterproof yellow?)
Edit - bottom may be golden brown but the flow increased a lot so looks way darker
