Happened to me after I tried my first edible. Was sitting in the shower until the hot water ran out. Then it was a mad dash to hurry and wash up before the water was too cold.
Only happened with washing my hair. Sometimes do I do it twice because I forget for a moment and then when I start washing it again do I feel I have already done it 😂
I sometimes wonder if I have used soap when I am lost in thought, but I have always managed to answer the question by looking at the soap on the floor.
If I deviate at all from my shower routine I cannot remember what has been washed or not. It must be hair wash, hair condition, wash arms, wash front torso, wash back torso, wash legs, wash armpits, wash front and back holes, wash feet, rinse conditioner, wash face and neck. If I don't do things in that order for whatever reason I am lost and have to start over. God forbid I take too long a pause between feet and don't remember which one I did already.

I do the same thing- just spending half a hour under the water, no using soap
