They are fixing 6 rapidly its awesome to see. By the time kubuntu 24.04 is out it should be pretty stable.

Yup that is very bad, as Plasma 6 is already so good. Testing it on Fedora 40, it just works.

The reason is 24.04 is LTS, and they want to keep things more stable, even if that means more bugs. 24.10 should come with 6.1 in the fall.

Personally, I found #Plasma6 unusable on my machine as an upgrade (huge issue was that window management was totally screwed up)
I installed Kubuntu 23.04 and now things are smooth sailing.
