I forgot my BIOS password and had a panic attack. Then I remembered that the minimum length of a BIOS password is 8 characters. So, I simply entered 1 to 8, and boom that was the password!

I did this once. I ended up putting the drive in a desk and forgetting about it for awhile.

A few years later I found a folded up piece of paper in a jewelry box (I don't wear jewelry).

It had my password written on it and somehow I remembered where I had put the drive.

We lived happily ever after.
