I'd be down with jalapeños. One of ny favorite beers is Cave Creek's "Chili beer," altho it's kind of hard to get. Great flavor if you're a spice-head.
It's a minor offense. I'd ticket them at best. I've had okra in many Bloody Marys and I've learned to love the flavor. I bet that "water" is a little tangy and a little salty. Probably tastes pretty good if you're into that sort of thing.
