Authentication issues again on Lemmy.world

They seem to have had some success working on this, but it appears that once again, you will need to follow the old routine:

go to Settings > Accounts
optional (see update below) -- long press on each lemmy.world account to remove it.
then add it back again.

[Update: user feedback is that you can just add your existing account again without deleting it and the app will do the right thing]

We are looking at a better way of dealing with this. Thanks for bearing with us.

I think it's because the devs of lemmy.world updated to 0.18.2 a few hours ago. Login issues should be fixed now.

Removing and re-adding my account in Liftoff world for me too.

Erase account > Login > done 👍

I’ve never managed to log into my lemme.world account. I just get stuck with the spiny button. Any hints to get me logged in?
