I lived in the Phoenix area 15 years ago. After going through my first AZ summer, I concluded that humans were not meant to live there. I moved. I still cannot believe that it is one of the fastest growing regions in North America.

The heat should be treated like winter in the Arctic, something you need to plan around in order to survive.

As someone considering moving and new cities, nowhere on the sun belt is on my list for this exact reason.

I have family out in pheonix. We always joke that they would go out first wave in an apocalypse.
