This doesn't apply to us, though, right?

Huh.. this is interesting. I guess I really don’t always (rarely, tbh) have the energy to enjoy a new show, so I’ll just rewatch a mix of the same 5-8 shows over and over again because it feels safe and comforting.

The Office, Seinfeld, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, Community, and South Park. That's all I need.

I split up with my wife last year and we co-parent an almost-3-year old. Also the hardest year of work in my life. Have never watched so much office in my life. It’s absolutely my safe space.

…But also because sometimes I want to watch something I know isn’t going to suck.

That’s not true, I just really really like Season 2 Episode 1 of Phineas & Ferb “The hunt for the Lake Nose Monster” because of reasons! They’re real reasons too just like my Canadian girlfriend. I definitely don’t watch it because it makes me feel safe/happy.

I just do it because half the time I'm too ADD to follow something new.

It’s like comfort food without the calories.

Well, my self hosted channels of Malcolm in The Middle doesn't help.
