"Teeth"

The_Picard_Maneuver@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 2y (1 reply)

This was before the tooth fairy got her life together.

stoicmaverick@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

Your own? Other people's? On purpose? Accident? It's not even clear if it's individual teeth, or all of them at the same time. I have so many questions!

Cancer and Wolf... sheesh!

postmateDumbass@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 2y

Early analogs for chemotherapy were hit and miss.

teft@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 2y

Man I'd hate to be killed by several accidents. I'm just imagining a medieval Rube Goldberg chain of events that leads to 46 deaths.

"Planet"?

techt@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 2y

"Planet struck was an explanation for sudden death, sometimes listed in the mortality records as suddenly or died suddenly."

More here!

"Made away themselves" is sad.

Adulated_Aspersion@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 2y

The King's Evil Mycobacterial cervical lymphadenitis - inflamed lymph nodes on the neck.

Now I'm wondering how you could die from sciatica...

Rising of the lights? Were they falling off lamp posts?

The_Picard_Maneuver@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 2y (1 reply)

According to wikipedia:

Rising of the lights was an illness or obstructive condition of the larynx, trachea or lungs, possibly croup. It was a common entry on bills of mortality in the 17th century. Lights in this case referred to the lungs.

Donjuanme@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

Ugh I think I'd like my lungs to stay right where they are.

“Suddenly”

😐

proctonaut@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 2y (2 replies)

If I had to pick one on the list that's probably it.

postmateDumbass@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 2y (1 reply)

I choose death by Over-laid.

Alexstarfire@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 2y

Related - "snu-snu", aka "crushed pelvis."

nifty@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 2y

Maybe some kind of stroke or hematoma.

Or heart issue.

techt@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 2y

I have learned that jaundies is not ja-undies, it's jaundice.

kindenough@kbin.social · 3 pts · 2y

Childbirth almost quadruple than aged.

Anamnesis@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Is "made away themselves" suicide?

Sami_Uso@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

It is kind of a nice way to say it.
