I'll still take it over Omniscience Draft, but I didn't end up playing much Gladiator this week. Games went slowly and I think it's because everyone had to spend a lot of time reading the cards.
That said, it's no worse than a lot of other formats in terms of power level. What didn't you like about it?

Apart from power level, it felt very non-interactive and that games tended to be won in one big turn that invalidated the whole game beforehand.
Edit: I probably enjoued omniscience more than I should since I'd played the format a few times before and knew the tricks to it.
