I'd argue that China has achieved superpower status at this point. But I agree with you that there could be a third world war without the US, just like last time. However, it'd be difficult to have such a war without a superpower. Last time, we had a few more of those.
I think the PRC lacks something in the soft power stakes; they've created some degree of good will outside the West, but they suck at projecting cultural output that doesn't stem from the imperial Chinese era.

Iran bought into their own propaganda and thought they can actually do something this stupid and achieve any kind of success. LMAO at Iran. My only wish is that the USA and NATO don't get dragged into a drawn out conflict over Bibi's stupid asshattery.
Lol, the whole conflict in Gaza has been going on for as long as it has because the US and Israel want Iran to do this. They've been wanting a reason to wipe Iran off the map before they get nukes, and they fell into the trap card.
