It’s America. If you just imagine us as Romans with guns you’ve got a good idea of the catch at any point we sound good.

We like debate: but it’s more like we like sounding smart.

We’re good at war: but we’re incapable of sustaining ourselves during peace

Our culture is a melting pot: but those new people need to give up their culture in order to be us and we don’t trust them

Our infrastructure is amazing: but we don’t fund it unless shit’s gone sideways because the rich won’t pay taxes
