NASA may alter Artemis III to have Starship and Orion dock in low-Earth orbit

I get paid through Artimis, and while it's dope to know I'll have funding for a few more years, it'd be even more dope to see the program move forward

Under one of the options, astronauts would launch into low-Earth orbit inside an Orion spacecraft and rendezvous there with a Starship vehicle, separately launched by SpaceX...The crew would then return to Earth.

Prudent to test these capabilities, but ouch.

Sounds reasonable & relatively low risk to me.
