I thought doomscrolling was when you constantly subjected yourself to negative news and media, not funny memes.
I suppose it might be, I’ve never looked up the general consensus on the definition before 🤔 To me the doomscroll is just scrolling through all content available until I finally have to acknowledge the real world again.
Whatever you wanna call it, I’m here for it so thanks.

It's when you spend an excessive amount of time scrolling through negative news. OP is using the term wrong.
