I can't watch it without subjecting myself to an asshole amount of ads. youtube-dl can't seem to download it. Even my favorite tool for such, Downie, was only able to get it dubbed in French. Fuck YouTube.

Have you tried yt-dlp? It's a forked, more modern version of youtube-dl, you might have better luck using that.
