Gear Acquisition: MONOPOD

Hello everyone who is here. I am looking to get a monopod possibly. My goal is, of course, to stabilize my camera quickly and easily while moving about. I am using an EOS R6, with some potentially hefty lenses weighing a few pounds.

My preferred monopod would be collapsible/telescoping, fairly quick to deploy, and not weigh too much. Uncertain on the rest. Likely use is nature/bird, and some portrait in dark spaces.

Hoping for budget around $100 USD.

Many thanks for suggestions if you have em.

This seems to fit the bill: SIRUI Camera Monopod AM-326M 6 Section Carbon Fiber Portable Compact Lightweight Travel Monopod

I haven't tried it myself - I just might! I have a tripod but keep forgetting to pack it. Maybe this will be better to stay in the camera bag.

I actually ended up ordering a Manfrotto Element MII. Should be here today and is basically the same thing. I know Manfrotto is good stuff. The tripod often gets left behind because its bulky and heavy, so I agree there for sure. Ill report what I think when I get it.
