Deleting a post - is it generally broken or am I just unlucky?

I keep wanting to delete a post, and getting "We're currently working on resolving issues."

Comment deletion seems to work fine.

Anyone else able to delete a post?

Your home server might honor post deletion requests, but other servers are under no such obligation.

Always remember Murphy's Law of the internet: once you post something, it's public forever (unless you need to find it years later, then all copies will have been accidentally lost).

By default that's what ActivityPub does, but instance administrators can configure their servers to handle deletions differently or not at all.

Good bait. I almost fell for it.

It was nothing worse than a bungled meme, but thank you. 😁
