[I made] A charcuterie spread for some friends

The ingredients weren't anything special, but a little effort in presentation goes a long way.

That Boars Head chipotle is great. Ate a whole triangle of it the other day.

Agreed. Last time I got the Boar's Head chipotle Gouda, I ate the entire block in a single sitting with no crackers or anything. It was ridiculous.

Nice work on presentation!

Needs bigger plates. You've got slices of meat stuffed under cheese that will have to be pulled loose like a tablecloth covered with dishes. And don't pre-slice the cheese.. it's more appetizing to have irregular, not perfectly rectangular chunks.

This sounds like one of those risky clicks.

Hey…uh need more friends?

Well done! Several plates are much more practical than 1 big thing

It also helped to keep the pickles away from the crackers as well. That way the crackers can't soak up any errant juices.

Oooo.. yummo!

one of my favorite lunches. what's the name of the green item next to the pickles and olives?

Z_ford_prefect@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 3y

Okra

Wilziac@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 3y

Pickled okra. You can find it in most large grocery stores with the rest of the pickles and olives.

That looks absolutely delicious.

This is beautiful.
