The actual ball vape head doesn't have a wire, it sits in the coil holder to warm up, then you can lift it out and do whatever you want with it.

I know this is an old post, but I got one of these also and am wondering what your default temp setting is think I got mine set to 560 atm, 570-580 were not tasting that good.
