Of course they did, look at all the good work they ate doing keeping your mortgage payments insanely high while your savings account gives you sweet fuck all, and your groceries cost you more than you can afford

The savings account thing is just banks being banks. If you switch to someone else like wealth simple you make over 4 percent on your savings.
