you save your history?

JackGreenEarth@lemm.ee · 3 pts · 2y

Why wouldn't I? Its a useful feature for remembering what pages I was on previously, if I don't want it saved in history I use Ctrl-Shift-P

11500 this month
450000 total (searched for . ) requires setting places.history.expiration.max_pages to a higher amount.

Who tf doesnt clear history on close?

GenderNeutralBro@lemmy.sdf.org · 14 pts · 2y

That's what private browsing is for. I certainly don't use private browsing by default.

I clear history older than 2 months. Recent history is too damn useful to revisit a page by typing part of the title or URL in the address bar.

I keep my history as long as I can in case I want to remember something I saw a while ago

Yeah, history is extremely valuable feature. I think I would rather get rid of bookmarks and maybe even tabs rather than history.
