Yeah, Ferrari messing up the strategy is something you can bank on.

It does seem that Fred uses the random Ferrari strategy generator a lot less than Binotto did. Having said that LEC is also good at making his own bad luck in the race after crushing it in quali.

Yeah, Ferrari hasn't really messed up strategy this year yet, from what I remember.

yet

Neither Fred nor Matthia make up strategy calls. That's what the strategy team does. The team principal might give his 2 cents, and probably can veto stuff, but the strategy is made by the strategy team, with some input from race & performance engineers, drivers and the head of race operations (or whatever they are called at ferrari)

I was thinking the same. Kinda looking forward to seeing how Ferrari effs up the strategy or what bad luck falls on Leclerc^Hoping that he finally breaks the curse as well.^

Why does the chart start at 0?

Patuleia@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Because I'm dumb

EddoWagt@feddit.nl · 2 pts · 2y

Fair point, didn't consider that!

I'd be happy with either result tbh. We could be shaping up for a Norris v Piastri McLaren battle worthy of Prost / Senna in 2025 perhaps? Piastri is certainly the professor of the two so far IMHO.

I'd love to see Oscar win at Monaco.

Patuleia@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

I was wrong, the troll in me wanted Piastri to win, but I'm happy for Leclerc
