Fascinating! But so much more charming at ground level! I was amazed to find Vondelpark in the middle of a capital!

Yea vondelpark is great. I was there during kingsday, and it's completely filled to the brink.

Vondelpark is lovely. So glad we stayed at the hostel on the North side of the park, and walked everywhere.

We lived in Amstelveen, 10km from Amsterdam, and still did not use the car during the 7 days we were there. Just used the public transportation system (extremely well integrated with google maps), and walked (a lot!)
