It might be worth going no shampoo. I've been doing it for years and I love it. I just do an apple cider vinegar rinse once a week or as needed. Way better for your scalp once it adjusts too, rather than putting all the crappy chemicals that most shampoos use on your scalp.

One time I got distracted and skipped the shampoo step. Of course I remembered 30 minutes after I was dried and dressed.

Shampoo and rinse, then put in the conditioner, wash your face, wash your body, rinse it all off. Every. Time.
