I don't understand the High Card thing. Like, sure, it makes it easier to get a valid hand...but isn't it also hard to get enough cards in play to make that hand high-scoring?
It definitely comes later than other hands. By about ante 3/4 you can I'd say consistently score with them assuming good leveling and joker setup. Plus every boss that hides cards matters less.
It's not easy but [[stuntman]] and [[burning joker]] can effectively make your build. Also steel cards, blue seals and gold become much better if you can hold them. Which should help accelerate the build.
