Historically, witchcraft is a woman practicing priestcraft.

Also brewing and herbalism, but yes, the criminality of witchcraft was about the church being anticompetitive.

Sorcerers in the mid-east practiced algebra and astronomy, which was too spooky for the Imams.

Most witches I met irl were really chill and fun to be around. I don't really understand tho what witchcraft really is tbh
