Knitters are pretty chill, I'd be up for helping out. Been an active participant for a few weeks now, mostly online in UK mornings & evenings. I'll drop an email as requested.

Not that I think we’ll see that here, this just made me laugh. I think the first big scandal I watched unfold in real-time was the Mystical Creations Yarn blowup on Ravelry in 2008(ish).

I thought about that literally as I was typing it lol. And cross stitch is somehow even more dramatic on occasion! Crafters, who would've thought?

Relative to politics, definitely. Knitters will give you the benefit of the doubt for a very long time. But if the sock yarn subscription hasn’t arrived after 2 years watch out! Cross stitch drama surprises me for some reason, but it really shouldn’t.
